Finalize Web Migration
Second Notice
The following notice was sent to owners/contacts of Champion and
Veritas accounts on Monday, April 14, and Tuesday, April 15, 2008.

You are receiving this message because you are listed as the owner or sponsor of a web site hosted by UITS on IU's web servers (e.g.: www.indiana.edu, www.iupui.edu, www.iu.edu, www.iub.edu, www.iuk.edu).
The old server (Champion/Veritas) is being replaced by a new server (Webserve). To make things simple for you, UITS staff have migrated your pages to the new environment and are asking you to please verify that your web pages are working correctly. Your pages are updated nightly on the new hardware to match any changes you make to your Veritas account in the mean time.
If you have forgotten, or do not know, your account passphrase, reset it
by using your personal username/passphrase, at:
https://ams.iu.edu/group_account/PasswordReset.aspx
You can then change the passphrase for any web accounts you own on Veritas or Champion. You will use this new passphrase when you login to Webserve.
Please note: Changing the passphrase for the web account changes the passphrase for any other accounts with that same username (such as a departmental email account).
Using this tool will change the network passphrase for both the web and email accounts for that username. For example, changing the passphrase for a web account with the address http://www.indiana.edu/~department would also change the passphrase for the email account department@indiana.edu. (Note: it will not change the login password on Veritas but will change the login on Champion).

You have until May 12 to complete testing and submit the form linked below. UITS will not migrate accounts for which no confirmation form has been submitted.
If you wish to keep your account accessible after May 12, please test the
site now and submit the "Finalize Web Migration" form before May 12 at:
https://www.indiana.edu/~wmhome/migration/migration_end.shtml
If you do not wish to keep your accounts, please let us know by contacting IU Webmaster. Please include the name of the account you wish close.
