Web accounts to be disabled on May 20th
The following notice was sent on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 to the owners
of Champion and
Veritas accounts that have not finalized migration to Webserve.
Colleague,
We have contacted you several times over the past month to encourage you to complete the migration of your IU Web account(s). The migration has ended but there is still time for you to act before your un-migrated account(s) on Veritas/Champion is disabled.
Listed below is a snapshot of the accounts you have not yet migrated to Webserve, the new web server.
Option 1
=========
If you wish your site(s) to remain active on the new web server, you must
submit the following form "Finalize Web Migration:"

If you are having technical problems which prevent you from completing the migration, you need to immediately contact IU Webmaster.
Option 2
========
If you are unable to submit the form because you are not the account
owner, send email to IU
Webmaster. We will work with you to
try to identify the site owner of record or transfer ownership to an
appropriate resource. This will allow for the web site to remain active in
the new web environment.
Option 3
========
If you no longer need your account(s), please submit a "Web Account Delete
Request" form at:
https://www.indiana.edu/~wmhome/webtech/accdelete.shtml
To keep your site active, you must contact Webmaster or submit the 'Finalize Web Migration' form by noon on Monday, 5/19/08.
Effective noon Tuesday, 5/20/08, all un-migrated accounts for which the owner has not contacted Webmaster will be disabled. Visitors to a disabled site will receive an error message directing them to the UITS Support Center. To reactivate an account, the account owner must contact IU Webmaster.
