Incoming mail on Veritas to be shut off
On July 16 incoming mail will be turned off on Veritas. After this date, any mail sent to Veritas will bounce and will not be accessible.
In order to ensure that you continue to receive all email intended for your account, please be sure that the preferred email address is set to something other than your_account@veritas.ucs.indiana.edu. You may set your preferred email address at:
Note: In order to set your preferred email address, you will need to login with your www account username and the associated Network ID password, which is likely different than your login password to Veritas. If you do not know the Network ID password for your account, the sponsor of the account may request a password reset (please be sure to specify that it is the Network ID password that you need reset). For information on how to request a reset for your Network ID password, please see the following Knowledge Base article:
"At IUB, if I forget my password on a UITS shared central system, what should I do?"
In addition, you will need to make sure that all applications, scripts and cron jobs do not have any mail that is set to reply back to your account on Veritas.
If you have any questions about this, please contact IU Webmaster.
