If you received a message directed to IUPUI Web account owners on Monday, July 28, it was sent to you from indyweb-l@iupui.edu.
As point of clarification: The IUPUI Webmaster message to the "indyweb" listserv calling for participation in a campus wide web discussion list was not from IU Webmaster.
IU Webmaster email messages are delivered from "WMHELP" and are distributed to the owner listed in the UITS Account Management System (AMS).
Message topics reflect the central web server environment and are specific and official in nature. Topics include hardware and software upgrades, scheduled and unscheduled service outages or changes.
Additionally, new service announcements and upcoming opportunities to participate in Web Service testing are emailed from "WMHELP" and may be sent to the account owner.
Although we can't make promises, we try to limit our mailings to those topics.
