Veritas & Champion Migration Schedule

UITS is pleased to announce that the new IU Web system infrastructure will soon be available. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment will offer enhanced reliability and security, increased disk quota, and updated software.
The new system will initially be available for testing only; the test period is scheduled to begin December 17, 2007. Select users who currently utilize cgi and binaries will be invited to test and provide feedback. Upon successful completion of initial system testing (target date, December 31, 2007), the new IU Web system will be available for all account owners to begin the migration.

IMPORTANT: You will need to use the Network ID passphrase for your group account to access your account on the new Linux infrastructure. This passphrase may be different from the login password you currently use. To see if this impacts you, see http://webmaster.iu.edu/migration/passphrase.shtml.
