As you may be aware, the university recently issued Policy ISPP-24: Web Site Privacy Notices [1] -- which essentially states that all IU web sites will need to maintain a privacy notice that accurately reflects the site owners' practices regarding the collection and use of information from visitors to that site.

To aid in this endeavor, the University Information Policy Office (UIPO) has developed the Web Site Privacy Notice Generator [2]. This tool will help you draft such a privacy notice, by guiding you through a series of questions about your web site's information collection and retention practices.
