How to use SSH
1. Open the SSH client:
Either by double clicking the icon on your desktop
SSH Secure Shell Client Icon:
Or go to Start => Programs => SSH Secure Shell => Secure Shell Client. The path to the SSH may be different from computer to computer.
Note: If you do not have SSH Secure Shell Client, you can download it from IUware Online. For instructions on obtaining the SSH client see How to download Secure Shell (SSH)
You can use SFTP (SSH Secure File Transfer program) after logging in to SSH Secure Shell, as described in step 4. The steps below will describe how to log in to your account using SSH Secure Shell Client.
2. Click on Quick Connect.

3. Type the following:
Host Name: veritas.ucs.indiana.edu
User Name: {your_account_name}
and click on Connect button. Then type in the veritas account password.

4. By clicking on the SSH Secure File Transfer Client, you can use SFTP after logging in to SSH Secure Shell.
